Signs of an Emergency

Knowing when your pet is having an emergency is the first step to getting them the care they need as soon as possible. If your pet experiences any of the following, take them to Metro immediately:

  • Traumatic injury (such as being hit by a car)
  • Suspected fractures
  • Bleeding from the nose, eyes, or mouth (suggests internal bleeding)
  • Lacerations
  • Excessive diarrhea or vomiting
  • Blood in urine, stool, or vomit
  • Seizures
  • Inability to stand
  • Disorientation or confusion
  • Unconsciousness

You know your pet best. If they are acting strangely in any way, contact us at (330) 825-9556 or our partners at Metro for pet care advice.
